The painter Pierre Daura lived and worked here for several decades. The Maisons Daura now welcome artists in residence from countries all over the world. They can work here in various disciplines during two periods lasting from several weeks to several months, in spring and autumn. During each of these periods, you are invited to meet the artists. You can also visit an exhibition throughout the summer. So that you can appreciate both the quality of the buildings' heritage and their new identity as a place dedicated to contemporary artistic creation, the Maisons Daura are open to visits for the Arts and Crafts Days and the Heritage Days.
