We provide five different visits of Cahors ; choose one according to your particular interests, the season and the time you have available :
Cahors, Pedi-Bus : a general visit of Cahors comprising a tour in the group's own coach, plus a short walk beside the Valentré Bridge and around the Cathedral.
Cahors, the old town : a walking tour around the central part of the Conservation Sector gives you the keys to understanding the old city. (This visit does NOT include the Valentré Bridge).
Cahors, the Valentré Bridge and surroundings : find out about the 14th C. Valentré Bridge, the iconic monument of Cahors and UNESCO World Heritage listed in the context of the Santiago Pilgrim Ways, the Water Museum (according to time of year), and the Fontaine des Chartreux Vauclusian spring.
Cahors, the Cathedral and its surroundings : discover the secrets of the largest of the domed churches in the South West : visit the outside (east end exterior, north portal, western tower) and inside (architecture, furniture, wall paintings, features relating to the liturgy) plus the cloister, the Renaissance façade of the Archdeacon's house and its surroundings
Cahors, five Secret Gardens : or how to reinterpret in contemporary fashion the theme of the mediaeval garden. See a representative sample of 5 Secret Gardens, in company with a someone who loves the subject. (May to September only)
