Our wine is produced on a 12 hectare estate, from vines planted on the high ground of the Cahors appellation. The Clos Troteligotte is made up of one single soil type : Siderolithic Calcareous Clay. This is a red soil composed of clay and limestone but also, much rarer in the Cahors area, earth which is rich in iron. All these factors contribute to giving Clos Troteligotte its character and complexity. Over the years, we have made a selection of individual plots within the Clos and have created, according to the soils' different iron content, a range illustrating the variations that the Malbec grape can produce on this unique part of the Cahors appellation. - Six wines make up the range : K- nom, K- or, K- pot, K- lys, K and K². Production of ratafia, grape juice, white wine.
